Meet Paul Kim, the versatile San Francisco-based violinist who performs all around the Bay Area. He is currently a member of the Modesto Symphony and has performed with other orchestras such as Symphony San Jose, California Symphony, and Vallejo Symphony. In addition to orchestral music, Paul loves presenting chamber works and has had recent performances with the Glenview Classical Music Series and Insight Chamber Players. A recent concert highlight with Insight was performing the U.S. premiere of "Swoop" by the Australian composer Holly Harrison. Aside from music, Paul enjoys hiking the landscape around the bay, baking loaves of sourdough bread, and finding the next exciting apple varietal—he is currently obsessed with Empire apples. Additionally, Paul is eager to continue exploring the Sunset District, discovering wonderful places to eat and beautifully hidden spots.
